What caused this and how do I remedy it?
For the most part I had been using Swimmer's Choice Shock to treat the water. I kept buying more and then the last time I ran out, I just started using Hth Brominating Sanitizer because it was something we bought at Wal-Mart beforehand and it was just sitting on the shelf in the garage so I thought I'd use it up. Well after a few months I noticed rough areas in small sections of the tub. Apparently it's gotten worse because now I see the clear-coat flaking off all over the tub. It looks like your skin does when you sunburn and then it starts to peel. Obviously I need to drain the tub and clean it thoroughly. But what do I use to re-coat the tub and how do I go about doing that?
