I have an Intex 9x18 Ultraframe oval above ground pool. We live in coastal San Diego County. Very moderate weather, no freezing, 10-12 inches of rain per year, occasional wind. Question is: Is it harder on the liner to break it down and set it up every spring or just leave it up well covered. Don't care about electricity or maintenance costs just about liner wear. Will probably rarely use in winter, if at all. This thing sits 10 feet from my house and not that far from neighbors. Bursting is my main concern. Should it be? If so, what can be done to lessen the possibility? Thank you. First post.

Sincve you don't have freezing weather and you're going to cover it, I'd leave it up and run the pump once in a while just to keep it circulated.
