OK. Chems were looking good going into the weekend. CH was a bit low and CYA was 0.

Just did the check today:

Gallons: 19000
Temp - 86 F

Cl .5
Br 1
pH 8.2
FC .5
CC .5
TC 1
TA 120
CH 160
CYA 0 (or at least I can't do the TF100 CYA test correctly)
CSI - 0.69

Pool Calc says:

FC - 138 oz. of 6% bleach or 9.7 oz. of trichlor (which I have on hand but don't want to use)
pH - 40 oz. of muriactic acid
CH - 197 oz. of calcium chloride
CYA - 101 oz of stabilizer

Does that look right?

How do I put Calcium chloride and Stabilizer in?

How old is the pool? What start-up was done? How often was someone testing the pool because you should have never let it get this out of whack.

You definitely need to do all the things you mentioned:
-lower the pH and then maintain it in the 7s
-get at least 30ppm of CYA into the water (has none been added?)
-raise the CH
-maintain adequate FC ... at this point you may even need to SLAM the pool

This tells you how to add the chems, although I recommend hanging the sock of CYA in front of a return jet:
pool-school/recommended_pool_chemicals

BTW, please reduce your signature to a max of 5 lines as stated in the Forum rules for signatures. Thanks.

Wait. Since its pebblesheen, I need to wait on adding anything but Chl and acid right? Sorry, ready to do BBB too soon. :)
