Where to blow air to winterize

So first year winterizing and I really want to do myself vs. my PB who is not super reliable (oh and still has lots of little things to finish and I a patiently waiting)

Ok, not to digress...

Attached are a few pics of my setup.

I have a Heat Pump down stream the filter.

So I am not sure where to start...do I simply "disconnect" the pump at the unions and then blow one side for the suction and the other for the return ? I assume for the return I just put my valve on the filter at recirculate ?

Each line has it's own valve, so I can isolate one at a time....leaving the main drains for last (can't plug them of course)

is it that simple?

What you describe is what I would do ... although I have no idea what I am doing since I have never closed a pool before

That's a good plan, but I'd put the filter in recirc so you're not trying to blow through the media.

Ok, I thought I was overthinking a bit, but I guess it is 'that easy".
