Poured in muratic acid while robot cleaner in pool...

Did I really mess up? I did not realize until afater I had poured in muriatic acid that the robotic pool cleaner was still running. Should I be concerned about potential damage to it? I poured into the flow of the flow as usual so it should spread quickly at least...

I wouldn't worry about it at all. MA dissipates/mixes very rapidly.

I do the same thing fairly often ... although I usually wait until the cleaner is toward the opposite end of the pool before pouring in the chems.
