Mods, if this doesn't fall under construction, can you kindly move it for me. I'm looking for help identifying a part (ergo the assumption for construction) but it might fall under another category.
I'm prep'ing to install a LQ but I'd like to drill as little as possible (or not at all if possible). I checked and planned to use the existing rainbow chorinator to tap into... but I didn't want lose any function so I figured I'd try to "T" off the pipe coming from the front of it.
Here's what I'm talking about (near the yellow arrow)...

This part number ... R172273, is a 1/2" elbow joint. I'm trying to no avail at finding a 1/2" T splitter, so I won't lose the chlorinator if I need to increase the CYA and then the LQ for normal operation. Anyone have any ideas???
