pump spewing water

Help, i awoke this morning with water spewing from my pump. The water level was below the swimmer. I need to see if incandescent fix this myself to save money. Any feedback would be helpful. I posed pics and a video. Thanks

it wont let me post the vidieo, saying 3pg is not allowed. posted the pics the leak is in between the silver and black piece.

That is typically a shaft seal that needs replaced ... or look for a go-kit that includes the shaft seal plus all the o-rings in the pump.

Can't tell much from the pics but if it's leaking between the motor and the pump you probably have a shaft seal that has gone bad.

okay watched a lot a videos before i began taking the pump apart. everthing was fine until i got to the impeller. every video said the hold the back of shaft with screwdiver and twist the impeller counterclock wise, well nothing was happening. so i had to break it off, and to my suprise there were no threading on the shaft rod, looks like that impeller was a permanant fixture in the pump. so my question is has anybody every seen a pump like this. where as if something go wrong u just have to replace the whole pump. don't know if it's a waterway of millennium because both names on on the pump.

found the threads under another lock nut... thanks for all of the help. i broke a part that didn't need to be broken. oh well i learned something today....
