Flovis Flow meter & Booster pump

Hi --

I'm installing a Flovis Flowmeter in my new system. I figure it goes between my filter and solar loop. But I also need to put a T in there to feed my Polaris booster pump. Should I put the Flow Meter before or after the booster feed? Or maybe it doesn't really matter...

Any opinions?

Thanks,

Depends on what flow you want to measure ... through the main pump/filter or through the solar.
I would probably put it after the booster line as the flow through the solar is more important.

Well I was thinking I wanted to measure total flow through the pump/filter so I can correctly set up my Intelliflo VS? So I guess that would suggest I put the flow meter before the booster T.

What would be the reason to measure flow just through the solar panels? So I don't send too much flow and burst them?

Thanks for your advice.
