    Bird in the pool

    This morning I found a dead bird floating in the pool. I scooped it out with a net, then tested my water (TF100) to see how things were looking. Here are my numbers:

    FC = 8
    CC = 0.5 (it's been this way since I've cleared out recent algae)
    TA = 80
    CH = 150
    CYA = 45
    pH = 7.5

    I try to keep FC around 10, so I went ahead and added enough bleach to raise it up from 8. I was planning to get in the water later today, but after finding the bird, is that safe based on these numbers?

    Yes. Unless the dead bird was an Ostrich with an exotic skin bacterial infection.

    I see no reason for worry at all. Enjoy it, winter is coming....
