I have to drain my pool about 48% according to the pool calculator on order to reduce a very high cya. Using my wate setting on my Haywood will probably take quite a while I assume. Would an additional submersible pump be a wise decision. Pool is closing on Friday. Thanks

If the pool is closing, why are you replacing water to lower the CYA now? I would wait until spring.
You can use the waste setting if you can isolate the floor suction, otherwise a submersible works great.

I could wait until spring. Maybe some cya will dissapate over the winter. We won't be using pool this week anyway. Thanks
