Intex Krystal Klear 1600 gpm pump died

Is there a way to get a new motor for this pump or should I just buy a whole new pump?

Intex equipment is considered disposable. They don't sell replacement parts for the works of the motor, just some of the fittings to hook it up to the pool. You would be better off getting a small pump to go with the sand filter, something like a 1/2 or 3/4 horsepower pump for an above ground pool.

Where would we find a 1/2 or 3/4 horsepower pump?

If you go with Intex equipment, I'd get the 2500 gph cartridge, or the 2650 sand filter.

Are you considering hard plumbing your pool? If you are, find a good AGP pump from hayward or Pentair to name a couple.
