    Hello from Beautiful East Texas

Been reading the TFP and I am very impressed with everyone's willingness to help out fellow pool owners. Hope everyone has a safe Labor Day holiday.

    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.

Hey we can't help it. It's a big state. Where else can you drive one way for 14 hours and still be in the same state.

Welcome brandntyler. Look around, listen, and learn. Then smile when your pool owner friends complain about how much they spend on chemicals. Then slowly introduce them to our world.

Seems like a new Texan every day.

Pretty soon we'll have to change it to the Texas Pool Forum.

Just don't tell Dave I said that. I don't want to be in trouble just yet.

It does seem that the Texans are outnumbering the Carolinians ....and I am getting suspicious of some kind of takeover

We were all newbies at one time and enjoy sharing what we have learned so that managing a pool is not a 3-headed monster.

Where else can you drive one way for 14 hours and still be in the same state.
Guy living in Texas goes back to his 40th High School reunion in NH. Looks up his old friend in the NH countryside and asks him, "So how big is your place here?"

NH guy says, " Well, it goes over to that big Oak you see up there, then back around to that fence, comes down along the road and then back here to the house",

Texan says, "I get in my pickup and drive for almost 45 minutes before I get to the first property line on my place"

NH buddy says, "Yeah, I had a truck like that, too, but I sold it."
