New Pool Setup-Ready to hard plumb- What size PVC?

We are ready to hard plumb our A/G pool. What size PVC should we use considering the second skimmer & return are 60+ feet from the pump/filter? We thought that 2" would be good then reduce to 1-1/2" 6" from equipment.

Any advice would be appreciated.

2" would be a good choice. You can use bushings and/or bell reducers and reduce right at the equipment.

that's how I have mine. 2 inch to and from pool and then 1 1/2" around the equipment where necessary.
