Interestingly, I just had a pool tech tell me you can't (or shouldn't) have a salt pool if you have copper pipes. I've never heard of this. How the heck could you have a heater on a salt pool if this were true? I don't have a heater, but my pool is plumbed with copper. Anyone heard this before?

Sounds like at the very worst I might consider an anode on the plumbing. No biggie.
