Hello, I new here so please forgive me if I'm not posting in correct place. I wanted to show a picture of my pump hose. I woke up to a cut, or tear in it & a half empty pool with the Sand Filter Pump Running Dry.
Can anyone tell me if the Crack in hose looks like a normal tear from wear? It looks to me as if it were cut intentionally. If so, I'll file a report. I'd hate to call the police if it were from normal wear. The only other hose I've had to leak in the past, had merely a pin hole.
Thanks for the advice I found on this site regarding what to check for Pump Damage. I see no visible damage to pump.
Filling pool new & then will replace hose & try pump.
