    skimmer suction line

    Is it necessary to plug the skimmer suction line and equalizer line when draining pool below skimmer with submersible pump? That way u don't lose prime when u fill it back up.

    No. They will fill back up when you refill the pool. Plus the pump should be able to re-prime itself anyway.
