That is the OTO test. Yellow test up to 5 ppm total chlorine. It's a down and dirty do I have some form of chlorine test.
Yup. It is a fool proof way to see if there is chlorine in the pool. It also does not bleach out at high FC levels like the pink DPD test.
I believe that OTO test measures Total Chlorine (TC) which is the sum of Free Chlorine (FC) and Combined Chlorine (CC).

It is. He is just talking about the indicator dyes and Titrant.
No, I was wrong. The R-0003 is potassium iodide for the Combined Chlorine (CC) part of the test. The DPD is powder in the R-0870 of the K-2006 or is in the R-0002 of the K-2005. I've corrected my post above.
