    SLAM question

    I'm slowly getting smarter every day on this. Have my test kit, have been SLAM-ing, water looking 1000% better in last several days, but still learning,...

    After you've achieved the critical criteria of
    CC is 0.5 or lower;
    you pass an OCLT (ie overnight FC loss test shows a loss of 1.0 ppm or less); and
    the water is clear,
    is the thought then to allow the FC to slowly creep down naturally to the desired level and then maintain there?

    That is correct.

    It is safe to swim when the FC is below shock level.
