solar pool pannel vs propane in La Paz

I'm new to this forum and so far it is very very helpful. I'm planning my pool now and I live in La Paz, BCS Mexico. We have sun 360 days a year and I feel I should be using a solar system rather then using a propane heating system. Most likely we would only using the heaters in late December through March maybe. Anyone have any ideas on solar verses propane efficiency? I know the cost would be a big deal and I like the ability to cool down the pool.
