Taking Care of your Spa Cover

The spa came with a nice cover ; I think it's marine grade vinyl or something. I imagine it's what you see on most spas, like a big firm cushion that folds.

It's in the direct sun all day.

What's the best way to take care of / protect it?

Armor all will eventually dry it out and it will start cracking. Just wash it regularly with saddle soap to keep it supple. Manufacturers suggest to use no protectant as the vinyl used will stand up to the elements just fine without them.

Just a very mild soap and water wash, nothing more. Average life on a spa cover is only 4 years. Might be less, may be more, depends on how well you look after it and the quality of it. Some are better than others, but you pay for it.
