Cloudy pool high cya

Been doing pretty good staying on top of pool maintenance. But last week i tested my cya and it was 90-100 which shocked me. Drained some water and added more.
Testing from today( im shocking now)

FC-22
Cya-70-85
Ph-8.5

My question is which do i need to tackle first? Get cya down or raise FC to 30? Or get ph in range?

Also forgot to mention that I had been using the Crud outta some pucks, after investigating i feel that's why cya went up. Didnt realize it made that much of a difference.

What are you using for a test kit?

Ignore ph when FC is above 10 ppm.

Tackle the CYA first and then maintain the FC level. As said before, the pH test reads a false high when the FC > 10ppm.

I asked since your ph number was so high and the tf-100 can only measure up to 8.2.

Yes, your cya is high and it probably makes sense to lower it down to 50 ppm and then resume the SLAM process (formerly known as the shock process). After lowering cya but before raising your FC back up to it's new SLAM level, I would check the ph (assuming FC is below 10 ppm then) to confirm it is down in the 7.2-7.5 range then resume the SLAM process.

Ok thanks, and the 8.5 was a guess based on the color of sample......
