    Heat Pumps

Can a Heat Pump heat both a pool and a spa. Better yet, can it effectively get a spa hot ?

    Re: Heat Pumps

Assume that a large heat pump puts out about 1/3 the BTUs of a large gas heater, it means that it will take about 3 times longer to get the spa heated up to your desired temperature. Instead of 15 minutes, it will take 45 minutes, but you can get use to starting the heat pump up earlier for the great cost savings benefits real easily.
