Sealing Main Drain before changing MD valve

Hi!

I'm changing out 3 valves (Main Drain, Skimmer & Spa) valves at the Pumping Station.

I need help/suggestions on covering/sealing the Main Drain so I can change the valve out with minor or no loss of water.

Appreciate any help!

Just to confirm. Are the valves / pipes to be replaced below water level? If not, then the water will not leak out.

Is your equipment below the waterline? most inground pools the equip is above the water and therefore you don't need to worry about plugging the plumbing.

They're above water level.
