I know y'all say rain doesn't affect pool chemistry, but my pool seems to disagree.
We got 4-5" rain in the past hour, and I wasted approximately 1300 gallons to prevent the pool from overflowing. I'll need to waste more when the rain stops to get the water level below the opening of the skimmer.
Assuming it stops raining in the next 3 hours, is early evening still the best time to test? Or should I let the water turn over once or twice before testing?
