Ok. SO I have a 24' round AGP.

Here are my numbers:

82 degrees water temp.
13.5 FC
0 CC
40 CYA
7.5 PH

My wife wants to know if it is safe to swim in with the chlorine level being 13.5. Local pool store said no the level is too high?

Thanks. I have been trying to figure this site out for the last year and I feel very challenged at times doing so...

Pool store advice and our suggestions will not mix well. The pool store probably knows little or nothing about the FC/CYA relationship so they don't understand why you can swim in higher FC levels if your CYA is appropriate.

Not saying you (her) should not get another opinion, but saying the info WILL be different....often drastically

That's a big reason TFP is the most followed forum on the net. Everything we suggest here is rock solid science.

Swim or no swim is always your choice.
