Connect vacuum hose to strainer ???

I have attached a picture of the strainer for my intex easy set pool. Is there some type of adapter/fitting that screws onto this strainer for my vacuum hose to attach to? You can see that it actually has 2 different sets of threads. If you can, provide a link to the product online so I can see what I need. Thanks.

I just tried the search function, and I think the first result has your answer. Search
16K freeform gunite with spa; Pentair 4000 DE filter; Century Whisperflow 1 HP; Pentair Minimax heater.
Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.

I have not been able to find online the part they speak of in the link in your post. I will have to call intex to find out what I need.

Re: Connect vacuum hose to strainer ???

The people at intex are idiots and don't speak english very well. From what I have gathered, I only see one hose adaptor for intex pools. It states it is for the small strainer, which I have the large strainer. If anybody reading this has the blue hose adaptor, would you be so kind as to measure the width of the female threads so I can see if the adaptor would fit my strainer? Also, is the "nipple" 1.5" outside diameter? Thanks.
