32,000 plaster pool in Hawaii 80-90-temp, light to moderate use condominium pool, 5.0 bleach level. 7.6 PH, CYA 80, Calcium level is 180 . What should it be I have heard 300 is good.. thanks Woody

How old is the plaster?
For a plaster pool 250 to 350 is a good place for the CH to be.

With a plaster pool, you want more CH, as Bama said.

You could raise it with Cal-hypo, since you need to raise FC a little, too.

I am inclined to also point out that a FC level of 5ppm is too low for a CYA level of 80ppm:

Chlorine level is 5ppm not.5 is that still not high enough?
