My elderly neighbor's 12,000 gal in ground pool is turning green. I checked and he has zero chlorine in the pool. He has a Jandy Ei SWG. I followed it back to the unit and it wasn't on even though the pump was. No power to the unit at all. I checked and the power is running the pump just fine. So I suspect the timer box is okay too. I checked the actual unit on the pipes and they appear fine. I checked the wiring and it looks good. But nothing shows up on the main box, no lights light, nothing on the screen. Is there a fuse that might be denying it power? Could something be loose that might force the unit not to start? I haven't opened the unit as I don't know his warranty terms. It's been active for about a year. Any help for the old guy would be greatly appreciated.
