So I do my routine tests as a part of a SLAM but leave all the chemicals in the vial (lazy...and I was up at an ungodly hour to test). Anyway, overnight test has FC 15 and 0 cc but left it there and this morning (ok, was morning before too - but now everyone else awake) and the chemicals/water in the vial are now purple instead of clear. Explanation anyone? (evap of chlorine?)

It's normal for the test to run back pink if you leave it sit for a little while (and I guess purple if you leave it long enough).

That's normal. You can also change the ph test. Don't shake up your sample bottle or blow across your sample. It will give a higher reading. I have seen it go back pink, but never purple.
I's simply a degradation of the reagents and reactions of the test. Nothing to be concerned about except dirty glass ware. Best to rinse right away and be clean for next time and let nothing deposit in your vials.
