Here is Northern California bay area, PG&E charges 37 cents per KWH for anyone who uses any real amount of electricity (the more you use, the more they charge per KWH). Given this super high cost, does SWG still make sense? Given the initial cost of purchase and installation (assuming about $1000) and the cost of replacing the cell every 5 years (another $400), and the high cost of electricity, I am starting to wonder.
