Husband was mowing the lawn and it kicked up a rock through our AG pool. We have an HTH vinyl patch kit and applying to the inside of the pool but it's not really working. Suggestions? HELP!

Try patching both sides. If you have any heavy duty vinyl pool floats you could sacrifice one to make a larger patch with

Well to be honest ive not had to do much patching (knock on wood) but i have read a fair amount of posts here at TFP about patching and they seem to hold up pretty well.
Check your local freecycle and craigslist for someone getting rid of a smaller pool with the liner in ok condition. You can make a bunch of patches from that, and have the extra stuff that might come with it.
Try getting one of the Boxer brand patch kits. People usually have good results with those.
