Yeah, I thought it was pretty epic. It really doesn't look PhotoShopped either.

Yeah, I'd totally slam that puppy. The real question is how'd they take the photo and what is that beer keg doing in the pool, left edge of frame?
Wild party? Someone rent a bear? HAHA

Now that you mentioned it, look at the bear's reflection on the deck.

    Good catch!
    You're right, he doesn't have a reflection!
To my credit, I posted this in the wee hours of the morning.

I do see that the angle of the sun could be so high that it won't cast the bear's shadow, since he's so low on the horizon, relative to the tree line.
Ie. the shadow is directly underneath the bear, or somewhere close to the center of the animal, hence we wouldn't be able to see it unless we were standing on the edge of the pool next to the bear, looking down un it.
Not 100% sure though, as I'm not an expert on sun angles and shadows. HAHA

    Re: Good pool humor!

If you look real closely, you can see the reflection of the bear's claws on the brick coping. So, the high sun angle certainly has some credence for the lack of a larger shadow.
