    My pool is gray, I killed the algae but?
    18'x36' In ground pool - roughly 25,000 gallons; Sand filter; Vinyl liner;

    Your done when
    1 water is clear.
    2 CC of 0.5 or less.
    3 you pass the OCLT.

    24'x54" AG Morada RTR (by wilbar) 13'500 gal. Hayward Powerflo Matrix 1hp 2 speed. Hayward Perflex EC65 DE filter.

    Most dead algae is grey. If you have grey cloudy water with a greenish tint, you still have algae alive in there. What kind of filter do you have (DE, cartridge, sand)?

    In any case, continue SLAMming it until you meet all 3 criteria pwrstrk posted to make sure the algae stays gone.

    Welcome to the forum computhan. These guys have you covered, and you just have a way to go yet. It takes time to clear a bloom of Algae, but if you stay with it things will come around. When you come back to answer, please take a minute to fill in some pool info and location in your signature line. All the info helps us help you a lot better.
