Lake to Pool Contaminant Transfer possible?

We are avid lake swimmers/boaters. One concern I have is inadvertently transferring microscopic anything from lake to pool.

We keep separate swim suits as much as possible and I wash them but lifevests are not washable.

    Am I overthinking this?

A little bit . If you're really concerned, just keep the FC at a little higher than normal level.

I was thinking algae but that situation is heartbreaking. We watersport an inland lake and have already received an email from a relative.
