I need to raise my fc a little so i want to add some cal-hypo because i have like allot of it,so i know that i should pre dissolve it in a bucket then pour it slowly infront of the return but when i do that i still get some that doesn't disolve that just sits in the bottom.

So i was wondering what u guys think if i can pre dissolve it and then pour it in to theSkimmer with the pump running???

Btw: i have a skimmer and a bottom drain.

I want to add 3.9 oz of cal hypo to raise my FC by 3

Yeah, as long as you pour it slowly, that'll work.

I did that for perhaps a month 3-4 summers a go and got calcium precipitation so badly on my clear pump basket lid, I had to acid wash it twice.

Pour it slowly so it passes through you pump in a diluted form.
