We just put up our 22 ft. pro-series, summer escape. A hose popped off the filter overnight and water came down to below skimmer. We fixed ,it added water, then hubby noticed black goo dripping out of bottom of pump, that is attached to filter. It is a 2000gph. We have been running it fine for 2 days now, so it is still working, but what the heck is the goo. It seems to me like a liquid type vynil, as it rehardens after dripping. It has slowed, but what the heck....? :?:

Makes me wonder if it could be a plastic racer that the ball bearings might be in? Ay noise at all?
