Is the pool controller able to operate the IC15 .....

Does anyone have the IC15 connected to a pool controller? (SunTouch, IntelliTouch, etc.) Is the pool controller able to operate the IC15 like it can an IC20 or IC40?

I'm wondering if the IC15 *cell* (Pentair 2824-009) can be controlled by a pool controller. Yes, I know the IC15 as sold today comes with the PC100 power supply, and there's no way to connect the PC100 to a SunTouch or IntelliTouch.

But, that's not the situation I'm asking about... there are online retailers selling the IC15 cell with the older power supply (520556); with those kits, the IC15 cell is connected to the 520556, and not used with the PC100 power supply. I'm trying to figure out if an IC15 cell that's connected to the 520556 power supply, and the 520556 power supply is connected to a SunTouch or IntelliTouch, can the SunTouch or IntelliTouch control the IC15 cell.

So, to echo what I said at the start... does anyone have an IC15 *cell* (2824-009) connected to a pool controller (through a 520556 power supply), and is the pool controller able to control the IC15 cell? There's no PC100 power supply connected, nor involved, in this example.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but hopefully someone else can. And, have you tried calling Pentair? They should be able to sort it out for you.
