Bad news
Just had my water tested
chlorine 7.4
Ph 7.2
Cya over 999

I was told to completely empty mu pool and ballast tank and refill
Or over chlorinate the pool for the last two months and live with it.
Any suggestions

Recheck that CYA level....no test reliable can test that high

The neighbor used a digital tester lovibond and it read hi and he said the highest reading was 999 the test was done twice.

As he said, just because it came out of a digital tester, does not mean it is right. Much like if your car's onboard Distance to Empty read out said you had a range of 94859 miles on the current tank, just because it was digital does not mean it is right. I would seek confirmation of the level through a liquid turbidity test done under correct lighting conditions.
