Any info on what you're trying to take the bolt out of?

Did you try whacking it with a hammer directly on the head?
    Did you try penetrating lube?
Did you try heating it a bit?

If you can post a picture we may get a better idea how to help get it off.

its not coming out tried, so I purchased from HD supply to get a new seal plate
and seal 75.00 total didn't think was too bad, just hope now it was the motor not the pump that has quit working

All that has been taken care of, another question that I now have and it might be a no brainer but I have no brain. So when I am full skimmer, which is how I think I will need to run my pool vac the pump doesn't stay primed as if it were on skimmer and bottom drain mode, is this normal, or something amiss???

Air leak some where between your skimmer and the pump would be my guess

Most of the time it is right at the pump lid or the plumbing conections just before the pump
