Chlorine armed robbery

There have been two other threads in the last two days with exactly this problem. The posters pulled the lights, and were stunned by the yuck that came out.

Pull the lights, scrub it good, and put them back. Kill the power at the breaker and the switch before you start. Post pictures if you have questions.

The lights collect junk like the hubcaps on you dads car. Pull them out and look behind them. If you are worried about the FC, wear an old pair of trunks or do it naked. It's not going to hurt you.

I'm a few hundred miles South of you, but I use ONLY Austin's liquid shock in my pool. How does the water look? Crystal clear? If so then you are done.

Water clear, CC .5 or less, OCLT of 1 or less = done SLAMming. If one of those 3 checks fails then keep maintaining the FC levels and brushing/filter cleaning.
