Other things in Vitamin C tablet..

I have bottle of Vitamin C tablets (not chewable, or capsules, or time release, just plain pills). The label says Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, 500mg). I've been using them on my steps to remove metal staining. They work great.

However, I'm wondering if the other ingredients will have any effect on my pool chemistry. They are:

Microcrystalline cellulose
Croscarmellos sodium
Magnesium stearate
Stearic acid
Colloidal silicon dioxide

None of those chemicals will cause problems in the amounts you are using.
