Has anyone installed an in-wall skimmer on the shallower Intex metal frame pools? I'll be setting up an Intex 12' x 30" metal frame pool soon, and coming from an in-ground pool background I want to set up the new pool from the get-go with some "big pool" features that I'm used to. I've seen the posts where people have installed the skimmers above the seam to preserve depth on their deeper pools, but would like to know if anyone has done so on a 30" pool and what the results were. I'd like to be able to get every drop of water possible into the pool. Thanks!

I see no reason you couldn't follow the "above seam" skimmer installation approach.
