Hello! New here! I want to install color LED in the pool. Currently, there are 2 white light housings in the pool and then a single white light in the spa. I believe they are all Zodiac/Jandy white lights. Question is: do I have to install 2 color lights in the pool? If I replace 1 in the pool will the white light alter the overall color in the pool? Also how easy is this for a DIY person? Any input or recommendations appreciated.

This isn't as simple as changing a lightbulb at home, but it is well within what most DIY types can handle.

The simplest approach is to find replacement LED bulbs designed to go into your existing light fixture.

Making one light color and the other white is just fine.

Remember that any time you open up the seal on the underwater fixture you need to replace the gasket when sealing it back up.
