Thread: algaecide 60, best price?

    algaecide 60, best price?

26500 gallon vinyl above ground, bleach & boric acid.
All chemicals are within guidelines and the water is stunning.

I use algaecide 60 in my pool and the cost of $24 per quart online or $30 at the pool store is killing me. Any suggestions for a better price online or an alternative product?

Algaecide 60 is the only chemical that I use routinely that has not slashed the annual cost.

We can slash your cost on that too cause we generally don't even recommend the use of Algaecides! Not required if you maintain pool chemistry properly.

You only need algaecide if you intend to lower your FC below intended levels, such as when treating metal stains. I have not used an algaecide in several years, not even to close my pool.

You are right though, let's take it to the roofs! Somebody pop "Any Way You Want It" in to the CD player!!

Here you go. At least you didn't say Don't Stop Believin'. Every time I hear that song it gets stuck in my head and tortures me for the rest of the day.
