So here is my problem, i installed a new pump on saturday. No problems doing the wiring,primed the pump and it warunningreat.I had to add some salt and wanted to run the pump for 24 hrs to get it all dilluted. I went to bed round 8pm pump was running fine, got up at 3am for work and the pump was off and the breaker was trippedoff. Reset the breaker and turned on pump and tripped again. At that point i left it off and had to get to work. I know i cant do anything till later today but hoping for some advise.could bre a loose wire could be a bad breaker.

What size is the breaker, and is it a GFCI? Is the new pump the same as the old one?
Is the pump the only thing on this circuit? When you restarted the pump, did the pump run before the breaker tripped the last time? Could be a white vibrated loose while it was running.
The breaker is a 30 amp.. the pump is a 1 hp just likr the old one.
