I have read that a lot of people have been having trouble with their ladder floating. It requires a lot of sand. Has anyone tried drilling several holes in ladder? Do you think it will work ? Or is it best just to use the sand?

That's what I did. Drilled more holes to let it fill up with water. Used a boring bit. Forget what size. That stopped it from floating. Easy to take out then not as heavey.
