everyone probably already knows this but we discovered a quick way to cool our pool down last evening. Temp is at 90 because of the intense weather we have had all week. I put the hose near the shallow skim instead of just sticking it on the stairs. This worked really well to circulate the cooler water throughout the whole pool. The jets were definitely shooting much cooler water into the pool almost immediately. Pool temp dropped 3 degrees in one hour.

When I saw the topic, I was thinking.. what other (fast) method could there be than replacing water. With the exception of an AC style "chiller."
