pool light installl, what im I missing

Trying to install my pool lights and well the set screw seems to short. Hoping I didnt install something wrong
5g light with pentair wet nitch

Tab from light in the bottom, set screw in the top? Wet nitch installed right?

Screw about 1/2 inch too short

It looks like it's installed correctly. However, there's bad news. That niche is not compatible with the 5g lights.

For use ONLY with Pentair Water Pool and Spa® wet niche light fixtures 783XXX, 784XXX, 789XXX, and 600XXX.

The 5g's are either 601xxx or 640xxx so they won't fit the niche. You might be able to call Pentair and see if there's anything you can do to make it work.

You need a longer screw. When the 5g comes new in the box there is a stainless screw taped to the lense. It is maybe 1/2" longer than the copper screw.
