During the life of the filter, some idiot glued the broken manifold together and also glued it to the interior PVC pipe. I've only owned my house for a year and have tried to keep the grids clean by back washing and hosing them off. However, I am having some issues with the pump and filter and need to get down to the basics. I have a newer grid and manifold that someone gave me who filled in their pool. Anyone have any ideas on how I can take apart the inside without ruining the whole thing?
Also, suggestions on how to remove the bottom plug would be appreciated!
