We need help on how long we should run pump. We had water tested, so we are ready to put shock,chlorine, and stabalizer. Just forget to ask them simple question on how long do we run pump for? ? Please help

2 bits of info would help, what size is the pool and what size is the filter pump?

You will find the pump is probably to small for the pool, but there are some nice sand filters that can be had for cheap.

Also it sounds like you used a pool store for testing. They are notoriously wrong.
